Love Me.

Love Me.

My sweet friend is having a particularly rough week. I don’t know the details. The fact is, I don’t need to know. I can feel her pain in her words, and that’s what matters.

When I asked how I could help, her request was simple. Love me. That’s it. That’s all she asked. Love me.

Fortunately that’s something I can do, even from 1,400 miles away. I can love her.

So if like my friend you are weary, scared, frustrated and struggling with whatever’s going on with your loved one, know this: You are loved. Read that again. Really read it. You are loved.

Love begins by taking care of the closest ones – the ones at home. ~ Mother Teresa
